DURRRRLLLL~
To celebrate Jin’s solo album debut, I guess I should translate a little something about his “success.”
I guess I’m just a glutton for lulz and because I love being a Debbie Downer.Akanishi Jin, who is married to actress Kuroki Meisa, is releasing his album JAPONICANA on March 7th. However, due to the shotgun marriage shocker, his fans have begun to sell his CD’s and goods to second-hand shops.
“For fans, the marriage is a cruel reality. To add to it, he’s going to become a dad this year. Right after the announcement of his marriage, his fans brought a vast amount of his goods to second-hand shop to sell them off.”
“Those second-hand shops have taken the stance to not buy those Akanishi goods. They’d buy the stuff from the era when he was still in KAT-TUN though, just Jin himself is unwanted…”
Since fans have been bringing in large amounts of Jin merchandise to sell, the value of those merchandise have diminished significantly to the point where they’re not worth anything.
With his fans throwing out his goods, there’s also the worry that his album will not sell. Even though his fans have bought multiple copies of his solo single, Eternal, they are probably less incline to do that now after his marriage.
This time, there are also multiple editions. If the album is bought from a store, a poster will come with it. There are 6 different posters the fans can get, so some will buy 6 different copies just to collect all the posters.
An entertainment insider said, “Akanishi knows himself that he’s going to fail in America, so he has to put more efforts into Japan. So there might be some fan service in the near future. But because he knocked up Meisa, fans are leaving him at a greater rate than ever before. If Akanishi knew that his fans are selling off his goods in bulk, it will surely shock him. And add to that, the shops themselves are refusing to buy his goods. It’s really a double shocker.”
Normally I’m not the type to kick someone while they’re down but I must say after That’s What She Said, I honestly don’t give two fucks about this douchenozzle.
Can’t help but to doubt that what this entertainment insider said, applies to Jin.
Didn’t he want to shake off his japanese fans and start anew with the way cooler american audience?
Also am I the only one who get’s the feeling that Jin might want to destroy his career because otherwise he wouldn’t be able to leave the entertainment industry?
